Zoheb Faisal from Dr. Puppala’s research group recently presented his work on “Mechanical and Durability Characteristics of Carbon-negative 3D-Printable Hempcrete.” He addressed the carbon emmision issues associated with the traditional cement and concrete based constructions. To combat this issue, he highlighted the use of environmentally friendly materials like hempcrete which can be 3d-printable. 3D-printing saves time, effort and resources compared to traditional construction practices.
