Dr. Puppala recently attended the Geotech Asia 2025 Conference, held in Goa, India, in October 2025. He delivered a keynote lecture titled “Sustainability and Resilience Assessments of Geosynthetic Reinforcement and Geothermal Technologies for Supporting Transportation Infrastructure.” His lecture emphasized the pivotal role of transportation geotechnics and the growing importance of sustainability techniques in future transportation projects. His presentation included two case studies from Texas, USA, showcasing geosynthetic and geothermal applications developed to promote sustainable transportation infrastructure.
