Biography

Sadguru Sharan Agrahari is a Ph.D. student in Geotechnical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He completed his Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where his research primarily focused on geo-environmental engineering, foundation engineering, and ground improvement techniques. His master’s thesis explored the application of biopolymer-based superabsorbent hydrogels to improve soil water retention for sustainable agriculture. At IIT Madras, Sadguru gained experience in experimental research, soil testing, and predictive modeling of soil behavior. He also served as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate courses and actively contributed to student leadership and outreach activities.
