Current seismic analysis for the natural frequency of hydraulic fill dams is limited to small strains. Therefore, new and improved methods of 2D analysis need to be created in order to expand the picture of earthen dam earthquake analysis. Our article, Seismic Response Analysis of a Hydraulic Fill Dam, explores this topic and presents our novel approach.
