Dr. Puppala’s Peck Lecture is published in JGGE and selected as Editor’s Choice

Dr. Puppala’s Peck Lecture 2020 paper titled “Performance Evaluation of Infrastructure on Problematic Expansive Soils: Characterization Challenges, Innovative Stabilization Designs, and Monitoring Methods” is published and featured in the Editor’s Choice section of the Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental  Engineering (JGGE).

Expansive soils have caused significant distress to civil infrastructure like pavement, retaining walls, slope, and residential buildings. The paper focuses on the key research done on expansive soils with case studies & lessons learned related to characterization, stabilization design, and monitoring.
