New Equipment Alert – Temperature Controlled Triaxial

Posted on October 2, 2022 by amitgajurel

We recently added the temperature controlled Triaxial Testing Equipment to our state-of-the-art Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory in the Center for Infrastructure Renewal at Texas A&M University. This equipment can be used for a wide range of applications to design infrastructure in freezing conditions. Our students and post-doctoral candidates are trained hands-on by industry experts. Below is a picture of Matteo Lascialfari training Aditya Deshmukh, EIT, Dr. Md Ashrafuzzaman Khan, PhD, PE, Ayush Kumar, Tehseena Ali, Amit Gajurel, Zoheb Faisal.

Besides, our student leaders assigned for specific equipment train for several hours to gain expertise in conducting tests and analyzing the results to understand the soil-structure interactions. If you are interested to know more about any of the equipment, feel free to reach out to us and our student leader will walk you through the testing and analysis for that equipment.
