Posted on February 20, 2024 by Ayush Kumar

We are thrilled to share that Anand Puppala will be presenting at a special event at GeoCongress 2024 in Vancouver, BC. He will be accompanied by Mohammed (Mo) Gabr, Rodrigo Salgado, Rudy Bonaparte, and Thaleia Travasarou. This event is particularly significant as the ASCE Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering (JGGE) celebrates a landmark achievement – reaching Volume 150 of seminal papers!

Dr. Puppala’s presentation will delve into the profound impact that papers published in JGGE over the past 150 volumes have had on subsequent research and engineering practices, particularly in the realm of soil behavior and characterization.

As we know, the field of geotechnical engineering is constantly evolving, and publications like JGGE play a crucial role in advancing our understanding and practices. This esteemed group of experts insights into how these papers have shaped the field will be invaluable for researchers, practitioners, and students alike. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in geotechnical engineering to learn from one of the best in the field and to celebrate the rich history and future potential of our profession.
Let’s look forward to an enlightening and inspiring presentation at GeoCongress 2024! 🌍🔧
