🌟 New Publication Alert: Resilient Moduli Characterization of Cement-Treated Silt at High Compaction Energy Conditions 🌟

Posted on July 15, 2024 by Avinash Gonnabathula

We are excited to announce the open-access publication of the paper, β€œResilient Moduli Characterization of Cement-Treated Silt at High Compaction Energy Conditions,” authored by Prince Kumar, Anand J. Puppala, Surya S.C. Congress, and Jeb Tingle, in the Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board. This research, centered on the design of pavements for heavy vehicles, thoroughly examines the resilient behavior of silty soil. Utilizing a repeated load triaxial setup, the study explored the resilient modulus and strain, alongside established models, revealing significant insights into the often poorly understood resilient properties of silty soils. These findings advance our comprehension of the complex behavior of silty subgrades under cyclic loading, which is crucial for improving pavement design.
