Dr. Anand Puppala recently participated in the 2nd US-Korea Geotechnical Workshop πΊπΈπ°π·, organized by ASCE Geo-Institute (GI), Korean Geotechnical Society, and Kyung Hee University, in Yong-in City, South Korea, from August 8-10. The symposium talks are opened with Professor Anand Puppala from Texas A&M University, presenting on βRemote Sensing Technologies for Civil Infrastructure Health Monitoring and Asset Management.β More than 120 members participated in the event. This event spurred excellent interactions between research groups from Korea and the USA, as well as discussions with an excellent group of students. During the trip, Dr. Puppala also visited esteemed geotechnical faculty and geotechnical laboratories at Yonsei University, Kyung Hee University, and Konkuk University.
Events like these are crucial for advancing international collaboration in geotechnical engineering. Kudos to all involved! π
