📚New Publication Alert: Forensic Investigation and Chemical Remediation of a Collapsed Highway Embankment Slope in Houston, Texas📚

Posted on February 5, 2025 by Avinash Gonnabathula

🌟We are excited to announce that our latest research paper, “Forensic Investigation and Chemical Remediation of a Collapsed Highway Embankment Slope in Houston, Texas,” has been published in Transportation Geotechnics, authored by Ayush Kumar, Nripojyoti Biswas, and Anand J Puppala.🌟

The study emphasizes the importance of moisture regulation and the incorporation of anticipated precipitation projections into numerical simulations. These elements, combined with appropriate chemical stabilizing agents, are essential for addressing challenging soil conditions in the embankment subgrade. Such comprehensive measures are necessary to ensure that transportation infrastructure maintains its intended functionality and durability over extended periods.

For those keen on understanding our research, please refer to the full paper in Transportation Geotechnics (https://lnkd.in/gufyCjuu) or reach out to us directly.
