Dr. Puppala Delivered a Keynote Lecture at GLS 2025, India

Dr. Puppala recently delivered a keynote lecture on “Geopolymers and Geosynthetics for Sustainable and Resilient Transportation Infrastructure” at the International Conference on Ground Improvement, Landfills, and Sustainability (GLS-2025), organized by the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru (July 17–19, 2025). In his keynote, Dr. Puppala highlighted cutting-edge advancements in the use of novel geopolymers, recycled materials, and innovative geosynthetics to develop sustainable and resilient transportation infrastructure.

The conference was organized in honor of Prof. G. L. Sivakumar Babu for his distinguished career at IISc, Bengaluru. During the event, Dr. Puppala had the opportunity to meet Prof. Babu, Prof. Madhavi Latha, as well as many of Prof. Babu’s colleagues and former students.
