Biography
Clay joined the group in January 2021 as an undergraduate student assistant. In that time, Clay has since completed his B.S. in Ocean Engineering with honors and started as a Ph.D. student in Civil Engineering. After beginning his graduate studies, Clay joined the U.S. Army ERDC Coastal and Hydraulics Lab as a member of the Coastal Engineering Branch. Splitting time between TAMU and ERDC, Clay’s research interests lie in remote sensing using Earth Observation satellites and small-UAS, monitoring and modeling coastal geomorphological changes, and improving dredging practices.
