Biography

Debayan Ghosh is a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering student, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering in the Zachry Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Jadavpur University (Kolkata, India) in 2021 and his M.S. from South Dakota State University in 2024. His research interests include unsaturated soil mechanics, machine learning, climate change, and shallow geothermal energy. Through his work, Debayan aims to contribute to developing safer and more efficient infrastructure systems that can withstand the challenges of a changing environment.
