Biography

Dr. Jianxin Huang is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. He received his doctorate degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. His doctoral research mainly focused on the stabilization of subgrade soils using organic polymers. He studied the mechanical and geotechnical properties of the stabilized soils and investigated the mechanisms and interactions between the polymers and soil minerals. His research interests include soil stabilization, polymer stabilization, material characterization, soil mineralogy, pavement geotechnics, and infrastructure resilience.
