Biography

Kamron Jafari was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Memphis in May 2020. He worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Memphis with Dr. Charles Camp on partially and fully anchored wood-frame shear walls under earthquake loads. He joined Dr. Puppala’s research team in August 2020. His research interests include the behavior of expansive and unsaturated soils along with remote sensing of geotechnical infrastructure assets.
