Biography

Lakksh finished his bachelor’s in civil engineering in 2017 from India. After, he worked for 6 months in a waterproofing contractor firm and 6 months in a geotechnical consultant firm. Lakksh then came to Texas A&M University for his Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering. In his second semester, he received a Zachry Department of Civil Engineering fellowship for academic excellence. After finishing his two semesters at Texas A&M University, he became an intern for Kiewit, an EPC firm. Lakksh was an intern for 7 months from May to November. After his internship, he came back to Texas A&M to finish his final semester and graduate in May 2020. After he graduates, he will be working for Kiewit as a full-time geotechnical engineer. In his free time, he likes to play badminton and soccer. Whenever he gets few days off, he goes hiking and exploring new cities.
