Biography

PhD in Civil Engineering (specialization in Geotechnical Engineering), with a master’s degree in Transportation Engineering. Currently working as an Associate Transportation Researcher at Texas A&M Transportation Institute. Skilled in physical and numerical modeling. Experienced in performing seismic response and stability analysis of earthen dams using SEEP/W, QUAKE/W and SLOPE/W modules of GeoStudio and Plaxis. Authored several journal publications, presented research findings at major national and international conferences, and primary inventor of a patent filed with USPTO.
