Biography

Tehseena is a Graduate student at Texas A&M University, College Station. She was born in Kashmir, which is popularly known as ”Paradise on the Earth” and is the northernmost geographical region of the Indian subcontinent. She did her Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Kashmir University (India) and her Master’s from NIT Srinagar (India). After her Master’s she was a Junior Research Fellow at IISc Bangalore (India) which helped her to gain the intimate practical knowledge of fundamentals with a taste of scrutiny and was exposed to the latest development in the field of geotechnical engineering.

Tehseena’s research interests include numerical methods in geotechnical engineering, unsaturated soils and slopes, and retaining walls.

Previous Experience

Junior Research Fellow, IISc Bangalore (January 2019 – August 2020)
