Resonant Column Device

Description

This setup allows the user to perform fully automated triaxial tests (CU,CD,UU) and resonant column tests on different sample sizes. The setup consists of a triaxial cell designed for pressures of up to 1000 kPa. The automatic pressure controller or pressure control panel precisely monitors and controls the volumes and pressures of the pore fluid. The data acquisition unit collects measured values such as force, travel, pressure, frequency, temperature, and more.

Testing Ranges

  • Sample diameter: 50mm, 70mm, 100mm
  • Maximum cell pressure: 1000 kPa
  • Maximum torsional frequency: 2000 Hz
  • Maximum applied pore pressure: 1000 kPa
  • Load Capacity: 10 kN
