USDOT Future of Transportation Summit

Dr. Puppala’s Infrastructure Group at TAMU had the incredible opportunity to showcase their work at the Inaugural Future of Transportation (FoT) Summit organized by the U.S. Department of Transportation in Washington, DC, last week.

Ayush Kumar presented his research work on ‘Composite Mangroves for Reducing Soil Erosion Near Transportation Infrastructure.’ CREATE University Transportation Center

Avinash Gonnabathula presented his research work on ‘Use of Innovation Geosynthetics to Improve the Resiliency of Highway Embankment Slopes Under Extreme Climatic Conditions.’ National Center for Infrastructure Transformation

Jianxin (Jason) Huang presented his research work on ‘Emissions Reduction and Durability of Sustainable Pavement Recycling and Stabilization Using Recycled Material.’ Southern Plains Transportation Center

A huge shoutout to our students, dedicated research teams, collaborators, and sponsors who made this possible! The FoT Summit was a fantastic platform for UTCs and industry partners to exchange the latest research and technological advancements in transportation. The insightful discussions and innovative ideas were truly inspiring. 🚀
